10 Chambers Collective is a 10 person independent developer based in Sweden. Their early access title GTFO is a 4 player co-operative horror survival game that launched to huge critical and player acclaim. However Australian gaming media had completely shunned the title. And sales showed that the Australian market performed well below expectations.

Double Jump was commissioned to engage Australian gaming press and increase sales so that Australia was in line with global expectations. We knew we needed something more than traditional outreach to get media excited for a game that’s 6 months old.

So we developed a survival kit that included key items from the game, all within an Army-style backpack with the game’s slogan: “Work Together Or Die Together” to garner immediate interest. We then arranged dedicated playthroughs of the game for the media directly with the studio, therefore giving the media a 1:1 visceral experience from the comfort of their own home.

The results led to a 5x increase in sales across the 12 days prior to the activity.
